There's a light on in the attic. Thought the house is dark and shuttered, I can see a flickerin' flutter, And I know what it's about. There's a light on in the attic. I can see it from the outside. And I know you're on the inside... lookin' out.
Sheldon Allan Silverstein "Thought the house is dark and shuttered, " This is imagery, I think the author used this to heighten the story more.
"flickerin' flutter" This is cool vivid words, This really makes you imagine the flickering of the lights. This helps you get a better idea of the story. Twix

1Twix, how I love Twix,
2 Golden chocolate,
3 Sweet caramel,
4 Wrapped like a present.
2 Golden Chocolate,
5 My mouth waters,
4 Wrapped like a present
6 It eyes me.
5 My mouth waters,
7 I can’t contain myself anymore
6 It eyes me,
8 My stomach growls
7I can’t contain myself anymore,
3 Sweet caramel
8 My stomach growls
1 Twix, how I love Twix.
I snatched it up and ate it.....
"It eyes me." This is compressed conflict, I used this because it heightens the story and can actually help the reader get drawn in more.
"My mouth waters," I used repitition because it brings back the beginning of the poem into the end kind of like a cycle. http://vocaroo.com/?media=vM4GCLzfcFfqhrwYQ
Is it Fame, or is it Destiny

Have you ever wondered why coaches say, “Practice makes perfect,” But then people always say, “You are never perfect,” Is it fame, or is it destiny?
It mystifies me how they got the idea What drives people’s imaginative minds? What causes you to go through so much indescribable pain?[V1] Is it fame, or is it destiny?
How people rise from heavy weighted hearts, How they do it, Rising from nothingness to joyful fame Their stories, Is it fame, or is it destiny?
"Is it fame, or is it destiny?" This is speaker, I used this because It almost makes it mysterious as if the guy that is talking is looking back on his experiences
"Rising from nothingness to joyful fame," This is tone to me the way I tried to portray my message, How people go through triumphs and hard times to be the best they can be.
